    The “mainstream” media will beat this “controversy” into the ground, then kick it some more. Never mind that both Gates and Obama can’t get away from this story fast enough, it will be brought up ad nauseum for the rest of the term, labeling Obama a ‘racist’.

    Don’t look now, but he has just lost any power he had to comment on matters relating to race, especially when any implicit or express criticism of white people is concerned.
