The Brooklyn Comedy Company is proud to present the 13th installment of the series “This Week in Blackness.” After the historic election of President-Elect Barack Obama, it seems that some people don’t like the idea of referring to him as BLACK. Comedian and host of TWiB, Elon James White, has something to say about that.

    I can’t watch the video yet, but thank you for the teaser statement. If this video is about him being called biracial or a person of color I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! That is so frustrating. I saw on the news one of the kids arrested for murdering an immigrant was referred to as “biracial”. Not necessary.

    I only go into the specifics of being biracial in my stand-up when I’m explaining the challenges to developing an identity growing up. Every other hour of my day I’m BLACK. Thanks TWIB.
